Coach Poom – A Communication Designer Who Unlocks Transformation Through Play and Living Speech
Coach Poom is a thought leader in leadership development, communication, and the creation of safe spaces within organizations and communities. She uses LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® as a powerful tool for transformation—working across sectors from business and government to vulnerable groups such as incarcerated women and youth affected by violence.
She believes that “play” is not trivial—it is one of the deepest languages of the human spirit. Through play, people can unlock courage, love, and hope that already exists within them.
Her talent lies in designing communication and presentation experiences that quietly awaken people to their own potential. One shining example is her TEDx Talk, “Play for Serious Purpose”, where she explores how structured play can heal the heart and generate positive force in a fragile world. Her voice doesn’t just share experience—it speaks directly to what people feel but often can’t express.
Coach Poom is certified directly by one of the founders and authors of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and is trained Executive Coach from UC Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. She earned her Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Chulalongkorn University, with First Class Honors.
