Together we MAKE a Better World POSSIBLE.
–
Day 2 of the MISSION POSSIBLE Youth Social Hackathon: Season 2 began with a buzz of determination in the Hacking Room. With inspiration from the first day still fresh, every team entered the space knowing that today was the day to put ideas into motion—testing, refining, and preparing to pitch their solutions on the final stage.
Every corner of the room overflowed with Post-it notes, half-finished slides, and focused conversation. Some teams were deep in debate, some rehearsing their presentation flow, while others sat quietly fine-tuning every last detail. Laughter mixed with intensity. It wasn’t just about competition—it was about collaboration and commitment.
And of course, no team was left running on empty. Throughout the day, the hacking room was fueled by an endless supply of snacks, pastries, and drinks—because every bold idea needs brain food. And lots of popcorn.
If Day 1 was about discovering that change is possible, Day 2 was about learning how to make that change happen.
From the moment the day began, every corner of the Salesian Retreat House buzzed with conversation. Flip charts quickly filled with sketches and sticky notes. Laptops glowed with evolving presentations. Teams debated, questioned one another, and returned repeatedly to the same question that had guided them from the very beginning:
How can we create a solution that truly matters to people?
The second day of MISSION POSSIBLE Youth Social Hackathon: Season 3 transformed inspiration into action.
After spending the previous day listening to powerful stories from changemakers, the 70 students representing 12 Catholic schools across Thailand now faced a different challenge—not simply generating creative ideas, but refining them into practical, meaningful solutions capable of creating real social impact.
Throughout the day, every team immersed themselves in the hacking process—revisiting assumptions, redefining problems, and strengthening their proposed solutions. Whiteboards were repeatedly erased and rewritten. Ideas evolved through discussion, disagreement, and collaboration as students gradually discovered that the strongest solutions are rarely the first ones imagined.
Yet one of the defining moments of Day 2 came during the afternoon.
Six experienced pitching coaches joined the hackathon, each mentoring two school teams through intensive coaching sessions. Rather than focusing only on presentation techniques, the coaches challenged participants to think more deeply about their ideas, sharpen their storytelling, clarify the social issues they hoped to address, and communicate their vision with confidence and authenticity.

The coaching rooms quickly became spaces for honest conversations.
Students tested their assumptions.
They learned to simplify complex ideas.
They practiced explaining not only what they wanted to do, but why it mattered.
More importantly, they discovered that a compelling pitch is not about impressing judges—it is about helping others believe in the change they hope to create.
Throughout the sessions, every coach brought a unique perspective, yet together their advice reflected a common message.
Coach Dr. Luis Kristhanin, reminded participants not to become consumed by tomorrow’s competition.
“Don’t think about the results. Just by going through these two days of the process, you’ve already succeeded.”
His words shifted the students’ attention away from winning and toward the value of learning itself.

Coach Poom Narudee Kristhanin encouraged everyone to embrace the present with gratitude and purpose.
“Hope there will be tomorrow—but don’t assume there will be one. So enjoy today to the fullest.”
For many students, the hackathon had already become much more than a competition. It had become an opportunity to discover new perspectives, build friendships across schools, and experience what genuine collaboration feels like.

Coach Vim Dr. Vimviriya Limkangvanmongkol reminded participants that meaningful innovation begins with recognizing the value they can bring to others.
“Create value for others. Be proud of yourself, and enjoy today.”

Coach Kaewjai Nacaskul offered a brief but timely reminder.
“Don’t stress.”
Sometimes, the greatest breakthroughs come not from pressure but from confidence, curiosity, and trust in the process.

Coach Nok Saravanee Khuprasert encouraged every team to remain open to new possibilities.
“Embrace every opportunity. Give it your all. Make today your best.”

And Coach Kate Dr. Sukritta Preechawong captured the spirit of the entire day in just three words.
“Give it everything you’ve got.”

Those simple reflections echoed throughout the hacking room long after the coaching sessions had ended.
As evening approached, the atmosphere shifted once again.
Teams returned to their workstations carrying pages filled with feedback, fresh ideas, and renewed confidence. Some completely reorganized their presentations. Others refined their problem statements or strengthened the impact of their proposed solutions.
There were moments of laughter.
There were moments of uncertainty.
There were moments when teammates challenged each other’s thinking before finally arriving at a stronger shared vision.
The room remained alive with conversation late into the day—not because every team had found perfect answers, but because every team continued asking better questions.
That, perhaps, was the greatest success of Day 2.
MISSION POSSIBLE has never been about finding perfect solutions in three days.
It is about nurturing young people who are willing to listen before speaking, understand before solving, and collaborate before competing.
By the end of the second day, every participant had already grown—not only as presenters or problem-solvers, but as compassionate young leaders ready to shape a better future together.
Tomorrow, they will stand before the judges to pitch their ideas.
But today, they have already demonstrated something equally important:
That meaningful change begins with empathy.
It grows through collaboration.
And it becomes possible when people choose to build it and walk together.
Together we MAKE a Better World POSSIBLE., a business leader and expert in human-centered leadership, encouraged students to communicate from the heart and embrace their shared humanity.
