Day 3: The Final Pitch – Where Ideas Find Their Voice

สารแห่งความหวังจากพระศาสนจักร

แม้จะไม่สามารถเดินทางมาร่วมงานได้ด้วยตนเองในปีนี้ Sister Nina Krapic รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักข่าววาติกัน (Holy See Press Office) ได้ส่งข้อความผ่านวิดีโอเพื่อให้กำลังใจเหล่าแฮกเกอร์ผู้เข้าร่วมทุกคน พร้อมชวนให้เห็นคุณค่าของการเดินทางร่วมกัน

ต่อมา Father François-Xavier Collin จากสมณทูตวาติกันประจำประเทศไทย ได้ร่วมกล่าวให้กำลังใจผู้เข้าร่วม พร้อมย้ำว่า MISSION POSSIBLE เป็นมากกว่าการแข่งขันด้านวิชาการหรือเทคโนโลยี โดยชวนให้เหล่าแฮกเกอร์สร้าง “ทัศนคติของหัวใจ” (Attitudes of the Heart) กล้าที่จะมองเห็นบาดแผลของสังคมด้วยความซื่อสัตย์ และเรียนรู้ที่จะรับฟังกันอย่างลึกซึ้ง ก่อนจะเริ่มต้นค้นหาทางออกให้กับปัญหาต่าง ๆ

“หากเราพูดความจริงด้วยความซื่อสัตย์และออกมาจากหัวใจ พระเจ้าจะสามารถตรัสผ่านเราไปถึงผู้คน และไปถึงทั้งโลกได้”

Pitching Day

จากการระดมความคิดตลอดสองวันที่ผ่านมา ถึงเวลาที่ทั้ง 12 ทีม จะก้าวขึ้นสู่เวที Pitch เพื่อนำเสนอแนวคิดภายในเวลา 5 นาที ต่อคณะกรรมการ (ซึ่งได้แรงบันดาลใจจากการประชุม Synod of Bishops ที่วาติกัน ซึ่งแม้แต่บิชอปก็มีเวลาเพียง 4 นาทีในการกล่าวถึงประเทศของตน ทีมงานของเราจึงเพิ่มเวลาให้อีก 1 นาที เพื่อให้เยาวชนได้มีพื้นที่ในการเปล่งเสียงอย่างเต็มที่)

แต่ละทีมหยิบยกประเด็นปัญหาสังคมที่แตกต่างกัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสุขภาพจิต การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ สิ่งแวดล้อม ความสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัว แรงงานข้ามชาติ ผู้ลี้ภัย ชนเผ่าพื้นเมือง ตลอดจนความท้าทายที่เยาวชนต้องเผชิญในโลกยุคใหม่ พร้อมนำเสนอแนวทางแก้ไขที่เกิดจากการค้นคว้า การทำงานร่วมกัน และการรับฟังผู้คนอย่างแท้จริง

คณะกรรมการตัดสินทั้ง 6 ท่าน มาจากหลากหลายสายงาน ทั้งการศึกษา จิตวิทยา การสื่อสาร และการพัฒนาองค์กร โดยรวมถึง คุณพ่อยอแซฟ อนุชา ไชยเดช
ผู้อำนวยการสื่อมวลชนคาทอลิกประเทศไทย, ผู้แทนจาก LiCAS News คุณปีเตอร์ ดร.รัชดา มนเทียรวิเชียรฉาย, ผู้แทนจากสมาคมครู รร.คาทอลิกแห่งประเทศไทย ดร.สกาวรัตน์ ธรรมภิรักษ์, เมนเทอร์วีระพงศ์ ทวีศักดิ์, โค้ชเกด ดร.สุกฤตา ปรีชาว่อง, และโค้ชนก สรวณี กู้ประเสริฐ ทุกท่านต่างตั้งใจฟังเสียงของเหล่าแฮกเกอร์ที่กล้าจะพูดถึงปัญหาสังคมจริงของโลก

หัวข้อที่เยาวชนเลือกมานำเสนอ ล้วนสะท้อนวิกฤตระดับโลกที่ได้รับการระบุจากสหพันธ์สภาพระสังฆราชแห่งเอเชีย (FABC) ตั้งแต่ประเด็นแรงงานข้ามชาติ เศรษฐกิจไม่เป็นธรรม เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ความเปลี่ยนแปลงในครอบครัว จนถึงความท้าทายทางจิตใจของเยาวชนสมัยใหม่- พวกเขาได้ขุดลึก ถามหาทางออก และนำเสนออย่างจริงจังบนเวที

ระหว่างที่คณะกรรมการประชุมเพื่อตัดสินผล รุ่นพี่แฮกเกอร์ MISSION POSSIBLE Hackathon : Season 2 ที่ได้รับทุนทำโปรเจคในซีซั่นที่แล้ว ทั้งจากโรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัย โรงเรียนมารีย์อุปถัมภ์ (ข้อความผ่านวีดิทัศน์จากโรงเรียนเซนต์โยเซฟ บางนา) และโรงเรียนเซนต์คาเบรียล ได้เดินทางมาร่วมแบ่งปันประสบการณ์เพื่อสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับรุ่นน้องแฮกเกอร์ พร้อมตอกย้ำว่าแนวคิดที่เกิดขึ้นตลอดสามวันสามารถเติบโตและต่อยอดเป็นการลงมือทำได้จริง

เรื่องราวของพวกเขาสะท้อนให้เห็นว่า MISSION POSSIBLE ไม่ได้สิ้นสุดลงเมื่อกิจกรรมสามวันจบลง แต่คือจุดเริ่มต้นของการเติบโต การลงมือทำ และการสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นจริงในชีวิตและสังคม

ทุนทำโปรเจคให้เป็นจริง (Project Funding Grants) ทั้งหมด 4 ทุน ได้แก่

ทุนบริจาคให้หน่วยงานที่ทำโปรเจคที่สอดคล้อง (Impact Matching Grants) ทั้งหมด 8 ทุน เพื่อสนับสนุนให้แต่ละโรงเรียนได้นำโครงการของตนไปเชื่อมโยงกับองค์กรหรือหน่วยงานที่ทำงานในประเด็นเดียวกัน และร่วมกันสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อสังคมอย่างต่อเนื่อง ได้แก่

• โรงเรียนพระแม่มารีสาทรประดิษฐ์ กรุงเทพฯ โปรเจค “Youth Facing a New World”
• โรงเรียนสารสาสน์วิเทศสายไหม กรุงเทพฯ โปรเจค “The Mindset Shift”
• โรงเรียนเซนต์ฟรังซีสซาเวียร์คอนแวนต์ กรุงเทพฯ โปรเจค “Returning the Sky to the Earth”
• โรงเรียนวันทามารีอา ปราณบุรี โปรเจค “Syner Exchange”
• โรงเรียนมารีวิทย์พัทยา ชลบุรี โปรเจค“FamilySteps”
• โรงเรียนหัวหินวิทยาลัย ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โปรเจค “Pun Fun”
• โรงเรียนพระหฤทัยนนทบุรี โปรเจค “Climate Crisis: A Threat to Our Common Home”
• โรงเรียนเซนต์ปีเตอร์ ธนบุรี โปรเจค “Migrant Workers, Refugees, and Indigenous Peoples”

เห็นได้ว่าการเรียนรู้ที่เกิดขึ้นช่วง Hackathon weekend ไม่ได้สิ้นสุดลงเมื่อกิจกรรมจบลง แต่สามารถต่อยอดไปสู่การทำงานร่วมกับชุมชนและสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นจริง

และทุกทีมคือผู้ชนะ!

บางทีมถือ Project Funding Grants ที่จะช่วยต่อยอดไอเดียให้กลายเป็นความจริง บางทีมถือเกียรติบัตรและโล่แห่งความภาคภูมิใจ แต่สิ่งที่ทุกคนได้รับกลับไป มีคุณค่ามากกว่ารางวัลใด ๆ

ตลอดสามวันที่ผ่านมา พวกเขาไม่ได้เพียงเรียนรู้การคิดเชิงสร้างสรรค์ หรือการพัฒนาโครงการเพื่อสังคม หากยังได้เรียนรู้การรับฟัง การทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น การเคารพความแตกต่าง และการเป็นผู้นำที่เริ่มต้นจากหัวใจ

สำหรับทีมที่ได้รับ Project Funding Grants นี่คือจุดเริ่มต้นของการนำแนวคิดไปสู่การลงมือทำจริง

สำหรับผู้ได้รับ Impact Matching Grants นี่คือโอกาสในการเชื่อมโยงกับองค์กรที่กำลังสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงในประเด็นเดียวกันพวกเขาที่สนใจ

และสำหรับแฮกเกอร์ทุกคน นี่คือจุดเริ่มต้นของการเดินทางในฐานะ Changemaker ที่พร้อมสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงให้กับสังคม

เพราะ MISSION POSSIBLE Youth Social Hackathon ทุกซีซั่นไม่ได้เป็นการแข่งขัน แต่คือพื้นที่ที่ทำให้เหล่าแฮกเกอร์ได้ค้นพบว่า ทุกความคิดมีคุณค่า ทุกเสียงควรได้รับการรับฟัง และเมื่อเราร่วมมือกัน เราทุกคนสามารถสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพื่อโลกที่ดีกว่าได้จริง

The final day began with the Opening Liturgy presided over by Bishop Emeritus Joseph Prathan Sridarunsil, Bishop Emeritus of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Surat Thani. Before stepping onto the Pitching Day stage, the hackers gathered in prayer, asking for the wisdom to listen, the courage to act, and the openness to serve others.

The liturgy reminded everyone that meaningful leadership begins not only with creativity, but with listening, compassion, and a shared commitment to building a more hopeful world.

The liturgy, together with the MISSION POSSIBLE Anthem, was beautifully led by students from Hua Hin Witthayalai, whose music created a joyful and prayerful atmosphere for the day ahead.

Messages of Hope from the Church

Unable to join the hackers in person this year, Sister Nina Krapic sent a heartfelt video message encouraging participants to treasure not only the projects they would create, but also the experience they would share together.

“The greatest value of a hackathon does not come only from the outcomes that you produce from your projects. It comes from being together and from creating together. That’s what actually transforms you, and that is what helps you grow.”

“I do believe that this lived experience of the hackathon will help you recognize the beauty of our shared humanity.”

Addressing the gathering in person, Father François-Xavier Collin of the Apostolic Nunciature in Thailand reminded the delegates that MISSION POSSIBLE is far more than an academic or technical competition. Calling on the hackers to cultivate ‘attitudes of the heart,’ he encouraged them to be honest in recognizing society’s wounds and to listen deeply to one another before seeking solutions.

“If you speak the truth with honesty and from the heart, God can speak through you to us and to the whole world.”

Pitching Day

One by one, the twelve teams stepped onto the stage to deliver five-minute pitches, presenting innovative responses to a wide range of social issues. Throughout the morning, the judges evaluated creativity, empathy, feasibility, sustainability, and long-term impact.

Project Funding Grants

After an inspiring morning of pitches and thoughtful deliberation, the judges selected 4 projects to receive Project Funding Grants.

• Assumption Convent School, Bangkok – “N’Alone” project – 110,000 THB
• Thepmitr Suksa School, Surat Thaini – “GreenMind” project– 75,000 THB
• Don Bosco Technological College, Bangkok – “The Iron Breed” project– 40,000 THB
• Saint Louis Chachoengsao School, Chachoensao – “Leaders of Light” project – 20,000 THB
  

Impact Matching Grants

Believing that every thoughtful idea deserves the opportunity to create positive change, the organizers also presented eight Impact Matching Grants, each worth THB 4,000, encouraging schools to support organizations whose work aligns with the social issues addressed by their projects. Through these partnerships, the learning that began inside the hacking room can continue creating meaningful impact in real communities. The Impact Matching Grants were awarded to:

• Marievit Pattaya School, Chonburi – “FamilySteps”
• Hua Hin Vitthayalai School, Prachuap Khiri Khan – “Pun Fun”
• Sacred Heart Nonthaburi School, Nonthaburi – “Climate Crisis: A Threat to Our Common Home”
• Saint Peter Thonburi School, Bangkok – “Migrant Workers, Refugees, and Indigenous Peoples”

Everyone a Winner!!

As the closing ceremony came to an end, participants gathered one last time for a group photograph. Some held Project Funding Grants. Others proudly carried certificates. But every hacker left with something far more valuable: new friendships, greater confidence, stronger leadership, and the conviction that meaningful change begins by listening, collaborating, and acting together.

MISSION POSSIBLE Youth Social Hackathon has never been just about winning, it is about empowering young people to believe that their ideas matter, their voices deserve to be heard, and together they truly can MAKE a Better World POSSIBLE.
